Best ADHD Summer Camps

Here is a giant list of popular ADHD summer camps in the United States and Canada. They all offer different activities and programs for children suffering from Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.

Most cater spefically to ADHD, but some offer more inclusive services such as programs for learning disabilities, autism, and other conditions. The reason why is that children with ADHD often suffer from other conditions, hence the more expanded specialized services available.

There are plenty of options. Some camps are overnight, some are day programs. If you are interested in the services they offer, contact them to see what they can offer your child.

Tips For Choosing A Camp

There are many factors to consider. Price and location are important, but that is only the beginning.

It's always a good idea to call the camp and talk to the director. They will probably ask questions about your child in order to get to know him or her better. The camp staff will need to know about any specific needs or issues your child has and which services you are interested in. This helps ensure an appropriate match between camp and child.

Finally, if you can, you should arrange a visit in order to see if the camp is appropriate for you and your child. This gives you an opportunity to tour the facilities, talk to the staff, etc.
